Imagine how differently we could experience our world if sufficient numbers of people began to imagine creative, positive outcomes for challenging situations. The long term result of this would be a growing number of people in the population with a heightened sense of responsibility for the world we create. Increasing numbers of people would come to see themselves as consciously creating a world they would love, rather than being helpless victims of circumstance. Imagine the impact this would have on our victim/perpetrator-aligned legal system. Imagine the long term result of a population able to shift the focus from hapless victimhood to being co-creators in a shared reality.

The hierarchical model of organizations in our society is one which is underwritten by such victimhood. The buck gets passed on like a hot potato. Imagine a society which is motivated by a strong sense of being a co-creator in the world: organizations would be structured synergistically, with a strongly identified sense of the greater whole rather than merely the minute part an individual inhabits. The sum of the parts IS the Greater Whole!

So come on, Australia, use your imagination! Imagine rain falling in the Murray Darling river and catchment areas. Imagine the joy on the faces of rural Australians who have been trucking water to their homes and thirsty livestock, or worse, when life-giving rain falls in these areas. Imagine the hope and life which comes from the dark clouds which bring such rain. Imagine the rivers running, the tanks and dams filling, flora and fauna drinking in the good stuff. Imagine that rain the next time you take a walk, or a drive. You are a part of the greater whole, and you can make a contribution to the greening of Australia!
